Robert Watroba has done film photography since the late 1970's. The main focus early on was in black and white photography images, showing stark contrast within the subject matters. Still life and abstract images were exhibited in galleries throughout Columbia county New York and also in Berkshires County in Western Massachusetts. These exhibits included the Berkshire Museum, Insights Gallery and other fine art galleries throughout the area. During the late 1970's and early 1980's Robert's images were represented by the Ewing Galloway Agency, a stock photography agency in New York City. In the 1990's and early 2000's photographs were exhibited in several gallery shows at the Becket Arts Center, where he served as treasurer on the board of directors. His more recent focus has been on wildlife, waterfowl, landscapes and world travels. The still life images are still based around solitude, shadows and high contrast subject material. Robert is a current member of Berkshire Art Association located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. More recent shows include Hope & Feather Framing and Galley Amherst, Ma., Art in the Park in Portland, Maine, Becket Arts Center in Becket, Ma. and Cooley Dickenson Hospital in Northampton, Ma. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Massachusetts Collage of Liberal Arts.
